Alex:  I chose a number of cartoons to critique and narrowed them down in order of their relevance to the topic we chose.  It was important to make sure that each cartoon depicted a separate issue to evaluate instead of analyzing cartoons that are basically framing the same thing.  I researched all the necessary articles to back up information needed to frame each cartoon and wrote the background summary for two of the category pages.  Each source was cited and research was only gathered from a reliable news source.

Manda: I selected cartoons and decoded them as outlined. This included a lot of time researching and meeting with my group to discuss which topics were important to discuss. I also wrote background information for the Arizona vs Supreme Court, Obama, and Documentation pages. I also helped in editing the finished product.

Stefani: For my work, I coded cartoons off of US News website that had differing topics. I researched articles that pertained to the subject matter of the cartoons, such as people or events. I wrote the background for one page and the intro for the blog, I've done spot editing, helped format the different pages and posted my extra cartoons to the extra's pages. I contributed a few of the key terms to the key terms page.

Seth: I coded cartoons found primarily on cagle.com.  I took responsibility for researching and writing the background for the Mitt Romney page.  I also wrote the final product for our conclusion page.  I formatted the blog and did all of the final copy editing to fix grammatical and structural errors in our writings, and to give the blog a more cohesive voice.  I added additional background throughout the blog.
